Sign for City of Ripley

Carolyn Rader, Mayor: My name is Carolyn Rader and I'm the Mayor of Ripley, West Virginia. The overall experience with Stewart Signs has been a wonderful experience, not only for the city of Ripley government but for our community, and that was our main goal. Researching for a sign for our building we knew it was going to be a substantial investment and we wanted to do it right the first time. So we were looking for that particular product that would be able to satisfy exactly what we needed.

You only get one chance to make a good first impression. And the gentleman from Stewart Signs made a wonderful first impression from the first phone call when he answered to answering all of my questions. So they were very accommodating and they helped us with the varying factors because we have never had an LED sign before at City hall. Many factors had to be considered because council had to make the final decision and they wanted me to find one that had a very aesthetic value because location of our sign, and the cost of course had to come into play, the location, what did it offer to us?

Some of the key factors concerning the final purchase of this sign was how easy it was for me to be able to put messages on the board. I could sit in my office at the keyboard and I can put anything I want on the board outside. And that's definitely a plus. The accessibility to the message board is a big, big plus. The city of Ripley's main concern is to make sure that we communicate with all of the people in our community. And the way that we felt it would be most effective, especially after hours when we're closed, is to be able to have a message board and we wanted the wow effect so we went with the LED sign.

Some of the highlights of Stewart Signs was how helpful they were. They were very helpful in helping us to design what we wanted and they wanted to make sure that we were going to be very happy and that we were going to be pleased with the aesthetic value that it had in the front of our building because it has been a very popular addition to our building. And they were very concerned to make sure that we had just exactly what we wanted.
