Locking Vandal Covers

Unfortunately, the stealing of letters or their rearrangement into inappropriate messages is a very real concern for today's sign owner. The embarrassment and extra expense incurred by vandals can limit the effectiveness and enjoyment of your new sign. The Stewart vandal cover provides peace-of-mind that your message will be displayed correctly until you are ready to change it.

The cover is hinged at the top with locks across the bottom. Covers open and stay at a full 90 degrees, allowing the message to be easily and safely changed. Rather than using gas struts which typically fail with repeated use, a Stewart sign utilizes our Glide & Lock© system (when applicable) to hold the vandal cover in place. These specialized prop arms are manufactured to last for the lifetime of your changeable letter sign.

The cover is made from the same graffiti and vandal resistant Makrolon SL® as the sign face. UV protection built into the material prevents yellowing and cracking common with standard polycarbonate and Plexiglas covers. Unlike sealed vandal cover systems, a Stewart vandal cover allows air to circulate at strategic points along the letter tracking. This prevents condensation, mildew and mold from building up on the cover and hindering the readability of your message.

Included Letters & Storage Case

Each Stewart changeable letter sign comes standard with a full set of letters, numbers and punctuation, as well as a storage case to house and organize them. Letters are injection molded with silk screened black characters.

Designed specifically for changeable letter signs, our proprietary Stewart font is optimized for both readability and maximum message length. In addition, we provide you with 30 free letters of your choice after you have received and used your sign!

Riveted Letter Tracking

Unlike other institutional signage, the letter tracking on a Stewart sign is not glued to the sign face. Glues and other adhesives often fail or discolor with repeated exposure to sunlight.

Instead, our tracking is riveted onto the face with white metal rivets; giving the sign a professional look that will last for many years. The white color ensures that the rivets cannot be seen at a distance.

Leg height is adjustable to suit your needs.

Word Panels

Stewart offers customized word panels that fit within the letter tracking of your sign. Announce people, times and regular events on a single piece that can be easily added, moved and removed as needed. Panels are available as single or double lines of text, and can be any length up to the width of your changeable letter area. Panels are made of the same durable material as the changeable letters, with silk screened black text.
